This conference is taking place on the territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ speaking xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people and the work of Cicely Blain Consulting and our co-conspirators takes place on other parts of stolen and occupied Indigenous land including, but not limited to the land of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, Stolo, Semiahmoo, Katzie, Kwikwetlem, Kwantlen, Qayqayt and Tsawwassen First Nations.

The xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people have been here as long as there has been land to live upon. The name Musqueam relates back to the flowering plant, məθkʷəy̓, which grows in the Fraser River estuary. (source

Welcome to STRATAGEM

STRATAGEM is a 2.5 day summit that takes diversity and inclusion to the next level – infusing timely political discourse with courageous social justice knowledge. The PRE-CONFERENCE offers a chance for us to connect and create a brave space together. DAY 1 is filled with inspiration and learning while DAY 2 – the LABS – are a hands-on, interactive visioning opportunity resulting in real plans for organizational change.

What is Workplace Justice?

Workplace justice is a commitment to recognizing systemic injustice, institutional discrimination and unconscious bias. Workplace justice seeks to be transformative inclusion that is meaningful, long-term, community-led and intersectional. We believe workplace justice is possible – through the marrying of grass roots knowledge and organizational development.

Who is this conference for?

Everyone is welcome! Recommended for leaders (traditional or non-traditional), HR professionals, small-midsize business owners, freelancers, educators.
